My story

Part of the reason I checked work at all hours was so I was prepared to be useful. One of the few work texts I ever got on vacation made me so happy at the time since I was needed. I remember hearing about another weekend work emergency on a Monday morning and was upset I wasn’t looped in. Didn’t they think I was valuable and should know what was going on?

It doesn’t have to be this way. And it shouldn’t.
