At the peak of my burnout, I was shuttling back and forth to work, cramming in an intense CrossFit workout, and consuming as much self-help as I could in the extra moments. It’s no wonder that not only was my mind tense but so was my physical body.
I was aching, getting little injuries here and there, and had a seemingly out-of-reach (literally!) goal to touch my toes on that bent-over stretch. I forever thought that men just aren’t naturally flexible. But then I realized that, like most things, flexibility is a learned behavior. I just needed to work at it a bit.
