My story
Growing up, there was always a very clear point of view on what a good job looked like. It’s the kind of job that held a certain level of prestige, was white-collar, and the newest wrinkle – one that you should love. In my environment, I was always steered away from a job where I punch in and out. Because that’s just a job, not a career.
With that narrative as my moral compass, I went through college and planned out my career with this in mind. I worked hard (enough) in school, took on several internships/jobs, and held down involvement in several extracurriculars. I was on the path to hustle prestige.
