My story

There’s a modern-day tragedy at work. Our hustle culture creates a cruel reward for doing work more efficiently. What’s that reward? More work. Since you have empty time to fill.

When I accomplished my work efficiently it opened up, in my mind, an opportunity to show how valuable I was by how much I could take on. Even though there was no evidence to suggest that doing more led to favorable outcomes in my career. All it led to was burnout and fizzling out at my company.
